About Me

I’m an academic turned UX designer. I offer many years of research and teaching experience that shaped my analytical mindset and problem-solving skills as well as how to break down and communicate complex subject matters to improve learning situations. Beyond my solitary desk and the classroom, I organized international graduate student conferences and successfully increased outreach, publicity and fundraising options thanks to a productive team effort. Having had a lifelong interest in music technology, I also gained experience as a sound designer, translator, beta tester, and documentation assistant for synthesizer manufacturers. This gave me the opportunity to employ my methodological knowledge for the optimization of user flows and to increase customer care satisfaction. I’m now looking forward to applying my user-centered approach, creativity and detail-oriented work ethos as part of a team-driven environment to improve and enrich the ways how humans interact with technology.
